Income Models for Supporting Open Access (SPARC)

Online resource and guide from SPARC providing an overview of income models currently being used to support the open-access distribution of peer-reviewed scholarly and scientific journals. According to SPARC, these resources will be "a useful tool both for publishers exploring new potential sources of income and for libraries weighing where to direct meager library funds."

New OCLC Report: Scholarly Information Practices

Scholarly Information Practices in the Online Environment: Themes from the Literature and Implications for Library Service Development. (OCLC, 2009). NIH Public Access Policy

Recipients of funding from the National Institutes of Health (NIH) should be aware of a new reporting requirement, Revised Policy on Enhancing Public Access to Archived Publications Resulting from NIH-Funded Research which became effective on April 7, 2008.
